The internet is a weird and often hilarious place. Sometimes, the netizens come together for the most outlandish causes, be it just harmlessly pranking an innocent soul or raising money to keep the criminally underrated scientist Nikola Tesla’s name alive.
A new trend that is rapidly becoming widespread is photoshopping people in crazy ways, mostly to invoke laughter and cheap thrills. As far as we know, it all started when some fella with a rather weak sense of photography and high school physics (not to mention Photoshop) submitted his touristy picture in front of the Eiffel Tower and asked the kind people of cyberspace to customize it to his liking. Ever helpful, hordes of Adobe’s very finest went to town with his picture, resulting in a series of creations that would one day probably sit right up there in the walls of the Louvre along with the Mona Lisa. We kid, of course.
The latest in this series is none other than the very lovely, Miss USA 2015, Olivia Jordan. Ms. Jordan’s beautiful picture of herself in a body-hugging sporty swimsuit, with her posture and supposedly-dreamy faraway gaze, has caught the fancy of the internet and they have now taken it upon themselves to morph it in the most imaginative ways possible. And while Ms. Jordan definitely didn’t ask any of her fans for all the effort, she still found it amusing and appreciated it, which tells us that she’s got a rare sense of humor – something that the internet sorely needs more of. What a sport.
