4G to Arrive in Delhi NCR within 2 months!

Vodafone Supernet has more than 10 million subscribers in Delhi National Capital Region. Before July they plan to roll out their 4G network in Delhi National Capital Region. They say that its download speed will be 8 to 10 mbps. Well this is expected as Vodafone has  invested more than Rs 1,000 crore to upgrade its network. Vodafone Supernet is a seamless network that enables one to remain connected for voice and data needs at all times.

Vodafone India’s, business head for Delhi NCR, Apoorva Mehrotra, said to reporters that we will provide 4G coverage across Delhi NCR in six-eight weeks. Customers can avail the service at 3G rates. On Vodafone network, we will be delivering download speed of 8-10 megabit per second. In this region at present Bharti Airtel is the only operator who provides 4G services. In this region today Vodafone provides 1GB 3G mobile internet data for INR 255 and INR 455 for 2GB and INR 655 for 3GB. Apoorva Mehrotra also said we have installed 3,200 mobile sites in FY16 at the rate of 9 sites per day. Vodafone has more than 15,000 sites in Delhi National Capital Region.When enquired about call drops, he replied that we are still finding it tough to install mobile sites in new buildings that are coming up in the region as resident welfare association resists installing of mobile towers. We have faced such issues in Lutyens Delhi and East Delhi and are working to resolve it.

Now, the company has launched Vodafone ‘U’, for their young customers. This becomes the company’s latest customised offering for the youth. It provides life style proposition and many benefits like world of internet, voice, music and digital offers and plenty of experiences.
