Nvidia will be hosting GamerConnect events across various cities in India. These events will provide the Indian gaming community to interact and explore new avenues in gaming. It will also let participants experience the latest technologies introduced to PC gaming. On 23 September 2016 the event will be held in Mangalore and next month, on 08 October 2016, the event will be held in Jaipur. Following these events, the Nvidia GamerConnect will be conducted in various other cities throughout India.
At the GamerConnect event will be showcased some of Nvidia’s GeForce GTX graphic cards with the latest Pascal architecture. New technologies such as Virtual Reality, 4K Gaming and more come to life with new GeForce GTX GPUs.
Speaking on the occasion Vamsi Krishna, Head – Consumer Marketing, South Asia, Nvidia expressed that through GamerConnect they want to reach out to gamers across the length and breadth of the country and provide them the best gaming experience available. Such initiatives also widen horizons and allow them to hone their skills and test them against other gamers worldwide.
He further added, that the gaming industry in India is undergoing significant transformation, Tier II cities will propel the next phase of growth. Out of an estimated 12 million gamers in India, large proportions reside in Tier II and III cities. These striking numbers clearly indicate the potential of the sector, both from business and community building perspective. More importantly, Nvidia will be present wherever their ardent gamers are.
