Reliance Launches Lyf F8 in India for INR 4,199 : Images, Features and Details

A couple of days after one of its unspecified phone models went up flames creating a national trending topic, Reliance retail has launched a new model within its Lyf brand. Named the Lyf F8, the dual-SIM smartphone comes with (obviously) 4G VoLTE. The phone has been launched for INR 4,199 and is on sale at all of Reliance retail stores across India.

The Lyf F8 gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera. Battery is a 2000mAh unit. The F8 gets 4g VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n as connectivity options.  A 3.5mm audio jack offers wired connectivity for audio devices.

The Lyf F8 is powered by the Snapdragon 210 quad core processor and comes with 1 GB of RAM. Display is a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS unit. In built storage is 8GB, though it can be expanded up to 128 GB through a micro SD card. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.

With dimensions at 132.6 x 66.2 x 9.3mm the phone weighs a light 138 grams. The Swift Gesture Control feature on the phone allows users to perform a lot of functions using gestures on the lock screen.
