Available until now in Gold, Grey and Silver colour options, Xiaomi’s twitter handle has revealed that a new Matte Black variant of the Redmi Note 4 will hit virtual shelves of Flipkart and Mi.com on March 1st, 2017. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been available until now in three variants – 2GB RAM/32GB storage at Rs. 9,999, 3GB RAM/32GB storage at Rs. 10,999, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage at Rs. 12,999.
When the phone went on sale for the first time in India on January 23rd, it was sold out within 10 minutes. Where over 250,000 units were bought within that time. Sale for this Matte Black variant will start at 12 Pm on March 1st, so you’ll have to be quick in order to be able to grab one.
Specifications wise, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Xiaomi’s MiUI8 on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, clocked at 2.0 GHz. Bearing a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, the phone features a 5.5-inch, full-HD (1080×1920 pixels), 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The Note 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera sports an 85-degree wide angle lens. Storage can be expanded till 128 GB with the help of a microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM card configuration. So you may either enjoy dual-sim compatibility, or the luxury of additional space.
