New Phone at Rs.4,000: iVoomi iV505 with 4G support and 3000 mAh battery launched in India

Chinese electronics giant iVoomi has entered the Indian smartphone space and will begin operations targeting the budget and mid-range space. The company plans to launch four new smartphone models in India ranging from Rs. 4,000 to Rs 10,000 and intends to establish its research and development and manufacturing unit in India by 2019. Their first device that has gone on sale is the  iVoomi iV505, which will be exclusively sold through ShopClues and has been priced at Rs.3,999.

The iVoomi iV505 comes with dual-4GSim support and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box. It sports a 5-inch (540×960 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The iVoomi iV505 bears a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It carries 8GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB). Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery which also gets ‘flash charging’ support.

In a statement, Bradley Yan, Global Business Head, iVoomi, said, “We are committed to establish iVOOMi in the Indian market with our innovative products loaded with an Android based highly valued SmartMe OS and features at an affordable price.”
