Google Now- a newly revamped Artificial Intelligence by Google provides digital assistance for any query you have. The new app powers your phone with new features which can be integrated using 9 specific commands. The commands are compatible only with the latest version of Google Now App in case of Android and Siri in case of Apple devices. Let’s have a look at the various commands: –
Google Now can be used to turn Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on or off by saying “Turn Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on/off”. A shortcut to the setting appears on the screen and requested action takes place. Similarly, the flashlight feature of your phone can be activated or deactivated. A very handy feature especially when you are scrambling around for your phone in a dark room.
You can ask for digital assistance to read your text messages by simply saying “Read/Show my messages”. The last five messages are shown on your screen. Use voice commands to either read it aloud or reply to it. This is an amazing feature that can be very helpful while driving. Various apps on your phone can be launched using Google Now voice control by saying “open” the App Name. This is a feature that works well with Facebook, twitter and other apps. It even works for URLs that can be easily spoken.
Want to launch video mode say “Record a video”, open camera mode by saying “open camera”, and “Take a photo” to get a list of apps that can click photos. To “Take a photo picture” Some developer support is required and hence doesn’t show Instagram in the option. Brightness and the volume levels can be adjusted. Jumping directly to specific setting pages is not possible, leaving a room for improvement. Use your voice to set alarms and to call or message your contacts.
