It’s been about an hour since we started facing this outage on twitter, and we thought it will be up again in a jiffy. But that wasn’t to be. The social network is down and you get an error page as soon as you log into your account. As goes without saying, the services associated with the social network are also down, and none of our team members have been able to log in through Tweetdeck either.
The service is unavailable on both its app as well as the website. “Something is technically wrong” is the word along with the visual of a broken down robot when you try to log in. Twitter is also insisting that it will fix the problem as soon as possible.
The reason for the outage is not known yet, but we are trying to get in touch with the boys at the social network to find out the reason. The problem seems to have affected the service worldwide and doesn’t seem to be region specific. Interestingly, this is not the first time the social network has faced outage in the past few days. The service has been down a few times briefly, and there seems to be something buggy which the tech boys at the company are apparently not able to figure out.
