UMi Touch is the latest smart phone being offered by the Chinese manufacturer and features overall impressive specifications. The latest phone sports a 5.5 inch 2.5D IPS display with a 1080p resolution. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 right off the bat, and for processing power, UMi Touch is also running a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz (Cortex-A53). Furthermore, the handset has 3GB of RAM, allowing you to seamlessly conduct multitasking operations, and with the latest software update, you will definitely be able to experience a fluid mobile OS. While there is only 16GB of internal storage, you can upgrade that existing storage upto 64 GB using an SD card.
For smart phone camera junkies, there is a 13MP Sony IMX328 rear shooter plus a 5MP front camera sensor. For wireless connectivity, UMi Touch is loaded to the core; it has a Bluetooth 4.1 chip, a dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter and of course an LTE modem. Thanks to its large form factor, the handset features a battery capacity of 4000mAh, and according to the company, users will be able to experience between 13 – 15 days of talk time. The price of UMi Touch is $179.99 so for a price / performance device, this one definitely seems to be a good option.
However, despite that price, the company wants to offer a sizable discount to users through its UMi Partner Application. It’s the latest program that will allow you to receive a $70 coupon to enter a VIP flash sale that is going to take place on 17th of February 2016. This discount will allow you to purchase an UMi Touch for just $99.99. All this does seem like an interesting offering from the Chinese company.
