BenQ, which is a Taipei-based technology products marketer launched its home video projector on Tuesday. The company markets it as a product for a better movie theater experience. The product has been christened “W8000”. BenQ is marketing the product as a home video projector with a full HD 3D projection capability.
According to the company, the projector has been specially engineered for a cinematic colour that is modelled on “REC 709 HDTV Standard” which enables it to deliver redefined colours. BenQ said in an official statement, W8000 is BenQ’s first home theater projector which comes with interchangeable lens options and is built for custom installation. It is capable for breathtaking motion picture quality with all glass optics for the best viewing quality. The device boasts of having state-of-the-art image uniformity via BenQ’s pioneering Total Inner Reflection (TIR) technology.
Quite Recently the Taipei based manufacturer also launched a 35 inch monitor named BenQ XR3501 with a curved display. This monitor was appreciated by experts across the industry. Also earlier this month BenQ’s flagship product, the SW2700PT photographer monitor was awarded the best device by Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), which is a much coveted recognisation in the industry. BenQ had earlier launched two monitors, EW2440ZH and EW2750ZL, which are 24 inch and 27 inch in sizes respectively. These new monitors were marketed as a part of their Eye Care Monitors range as they are known to include low blue light and flicker free technology.
