In today’s music filled world, the need for good quality headphones arise every now and then, and to satisfy this need, the Indian market is flooded with new head phones every month. The latest to join the bandwagon with the launch of their new headphones in India is Sennheiser. The German audio company has launched its ‘next generation’ HD400 series over the ear headphones. The series includes three headphones – the HD 451, HD 461, and HD 471. The HD 461 and the HD 471 arrives in two variants each, the HD 461i and HD 461G, HD 471i and HD 471G. The HD 461i and HD 461G are priced at INR 5,990, while the HD 471i, HD 471G variants are priced at INR 7,990. Only the HD 451 costs INR 5,000.
According to the company, all the headphones are compatible with Android and iOS devices. It is however interesting to note that while the (i) variants are for the iOS models, the (G) variants are for Android devices only. The company claims that these headphones feature a durable design and are also light weight with top of the mark ambient noise cancellation technology. Sennheiser has used native neodymium magnets inside the headphones which are said to deliver enhanced stereo sound effects. The company also adds that while the HD 451 and HD 461 models throw powerful base, the HD 471 is more balanced in terms of bass and treble.
The HD 461 and HD 471 models come with detachable cables with inline remotes and microphones, that lets users take calls and control music playback as well. The HD 471 headphones arrive with an additional 3.0m cable, a gold-plated plug and a 6.3 mm stereo adaptor for home HiFi connectivity. The company also provides a protective pouch for safety. The HD 461, as per the firm is for those who are looking for good looking headphones.
