Mostly any common man when he hears the word hacker, he pictures well educated people having a mind that revolves around the cutting edge realm of technology. Rarely would anyone ever consider a teenager or a young adult from a village in India to be a hacker.
Times of India reports that Himalaya Mohanty, a 19 year old boy of Balasore district managed to hack into the EPABX system of Hyderabad-based Lloyd Electricals and Engineering Ltd. The report also tells that Mohanty, who does not know very good English managed to enroll himself in several online forums. Then he used the translation software for communicating. With the help of his old smart phone he was able to hack into the EPABX system of the Hyderabad based company.
Using his old smart phone, Mohanty was able to hack into the EPABX system of the Hyderabad-based company. The hack allowed Mohanty to place free calls with the help of the toll free number. After he succeeded in hacking the system, he hosted a website and placed the instruction online. In the report we find a police saying that, when people contacted him using their phones, he used to hack their phones by sending a Trojan virus and used to track their movements. However, all this was done by him without gaining any financial benefit. In the TOI report we find 19 year old Mohanty confess that with the help of various online forums, he learned hacking. He also confessed that he is not only able to hack Wi-Fi routers and emails but also Facebook accounts and smart phones.
