According to a notice being served to users, which reads your conversations are moving to Messenger, Facebook is removing the messaging ability App from its mobile web application. This will be news to millions if people who switched to the web app in order to avoid Messenger. Currently, we can avoid paying much attention to the notice and go about our business in a normal manner. But after some time this warning cannot be over looked and the only option left to you would be to download the official Messenger App whether you like it or not.
We will find many people do not like the idea of down loading the App, either because they do not have official clients or they simply cannot upgrade the latest version of an OS as they need access to the web which they do not have or can’t afford to have. Many feel that this is a hostile move of the company, and this not the first time. Earlier, they had suddenly cancelled messaging from the main app. We find many in the company repeating that they want to connect the world, but it is felt that the users should be provided with variety of access options.
It is expected, that the Facebook PR will give the explanation, that the company plans to provide the best possible experience in messaging and they believe that the Messenger app is the best possible way to do so. They also believe that in order to avoid confusion they have to bring everyone together into a single system. Very few users believe all these explanations which is being given to them. They can easily see that it’s easy to decorate, enhance and to give legal value to a powerful platform like Messenger, while it’s almost impossible to do so with messaging ability App. It is simple to understand that Facebook can’t digest the fact that a single service provides valuable utility to users.
