Facebook urges users to download its private photo sharing Moments app on or before July 7

A media report states that Facebook, the social media is urging its users to download its private photo sharing Moments app. Users are warned by the social network, that if the app is not installed by July 7 then some photos will be deleted. The report also states that to spread this message Facebook is using notifications and from Synced album’s page on Facebook, more details can be obtained by those who are interested in knowing it.

A report states that in 2012, on iOS, Facebook had launched Photo-syncing as an optional feature,that allowed a user to automatically copy all their photos from their smart phone to a private album, on Facebook. Then in an album called Synced in the app or Synced from Phone on the desktop these photos were stored. To push people to Messenger Facebook recently gave notice to their users saying your conversations are moving to Messenger. Currently the users can avoid paying attention to the notice, but it is expected, that in the near future, the users will be asked to download the Messenger app.

 It is believed that Facebook is testing a new and improved feature called as Hide from Timeline. Besides this other functionalities are also being tested such as wishing users on their birthdays right from the notification drop down menus, and getting notifications when due to low internet speed the user’s profile loads slowly. Also now users can upload photos with 360 degree view due to a new feature launched by Facebook. The company said that besides taking photos from 360 degree cameras, panoramic photos that are taken on a mobile phone can be converted to a 360 degree view on the newsfeed.
