The Samsung Galaxy J5 was launched last year in India for INR 11,999. Now the company has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy J5 smart phone. The update brings the new TouchWiz with an updated design. The OTA update has build number J500FXXU1BPF4 and requires an 874MB download. Those who have not got the notification of an OTA update as yet, can manually check for the Android Marshmallow update by going through some simple steps such as go to Settings —> About device —> Software update.

Samsung Galaxy J5 smart phone comes with a 5 inch HD having 720p display with pixel density of 294ppi. The Galaxy J5 smart phone is powered with 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, coupled with 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal storage memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot.
