In China Gionee’s new S6 Pro smart phone was unveiled, it will be available at CNY 1,999 which will be approximately INR 20,000. This smart phone can be bought from the company’s online store in China. Till date the company has not revealed any details regarding whether the phone will be available outside China and if yes then when it will be available. The new Gionee S6 Pro is metal clad. It comes with a fingerprint scanner that is embedded on the home button. The company claims that in just 0.1 second they can unlock the smart phone. It also features a USB Type-C charging slot.
Gionee S6 Pro is a dual SIM with Micro + Nano support and runs Amigo 3.2 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The second SIM slot also doubles as the microSD card slot. It sports a 5.5 inch full HD having 1080×1920 pixels IPS display and under-the-hood comes with a 64 bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P MT6755m processor clocked at 1.8GHz, along with 4GB of RAM.
The Gionee S6 Pro also sports a 13 megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It comes with modes like night mode, panorama mode, burst mode, magic focus, HDR, GIF, etc. It also includes Full HD resolution video recording. The smart phone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage capacity which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of microSD card. It is backed by a 3130 mAh battery, which can deliver up to 39 hours of talk-time and standby time of 558 hours. It can be connected with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, 4G LTE including Band 40 and VoLTE, USB OTG and USB Type C.
