The 70th NBA season has ‘kicked’ in and so have the new ‘kicks’ from ‘Adidas basketball’. Adidas has geared up for the Halloween with their Halloween-themed sneakers. Their zombie sleeved ‘D Lillard 1’ , ‘Crazy 8’, and the recent ‘D Rose 6′ are called the “Ballin’ Dead” collection by adidas from their “Night of the ballin’ dead” theme.
Each sneaker is wrapped in a brain print graphic on the outside, painted with of a combination of black white and pink. The glow-in-the-dark detailing brightens the theme.
The D Lillard 1 comes in a dual-tone upper with core black hues fixed on a slime green base. A pink splattered luminous midsole ‘creeps’ to the outsole, while a reflective brain pattern covers the dark silhouette. Contrast purple accent completes the bits of the Halloween theme.
The D Rose 6 features a core black reflective Zombie brain pattern embossed on the outside and slips into a pink ‘stableframe’ midsole. D Rose logo prominently placed on the heel. Green drip graphics sit over the Adidas branding on the tongue. The toe cap is in pink. The deep coloured accents are coupled with the ‘fitframe’ heel cage for a haunting look.
The Crazy 8 comes with an all-pink upper with a zombie brain print mask to show the ‘dead’ of night. A slime green and purple dotted midsole, a radiant outsole and the adidas logo in green drip graphics compose the “Crazy 8’s” Halloween look. A mesh lining and pull tabs complement the glow-in-the-dark spots on the purple laces. A “Night of the Ballin’ Dead” and a cross bones graphic accomplish the Halloween show.
The Zombie-inspired editions of the adidas, D Rose 6, D Lillard 1, and Crazy 8, will go on sale for a price of approx $140, $105 and $110 respectively on Halloween, so if you are in need of a ‘Halloween’ looking pair of shoes to complement your costume, Adidas has got your back.
