It will attract dedicated e-book users to its eighth generation device. According to Amazon, this device is 30 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than previous Kindles. We can also use the device one handed. It has been given an asymmetrical shape with a grip on one side. They have also given a facility for the left handed people out there who can just flip the device for the grip.

Oasis features a black-and-white screen designed to make reading easier like the previous kindle. There are two batteries, one in the kindle and the other in the cover. On full charge the device has a battery backup of 9 weeks, based on 30 minutes of reading daily.
