On Wednesday the company announced that Lenovo’s K4 Note smart phones have started to receive updates of Android Marshmallow 6.0 for new features and support, which also includes revamped app permissions. Lenovo who has joined hands with Amazon, has announced that till date the company has managed to sell a total of 600,000 units of the K4 Note and 150,000 units of ANT virtual reality known as VR headsets.
The world’s first smart phone with the TheaterMax technology is K4 Note. The TheaterMax technology helps to produce an immersing large screen experience featuring smooth graphics, surround sound and responsive 3D. Lenovo’s new smart phone K4 Note is available for INR 11,999. This smart phone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter and it also sports a 3,300 mAh embedded battery.
Lenovo’s new smart phone K4 Note runs on 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor. It has 3GB RAM and has 16GB inbuilt storage capacity which can be expanded by 128GB memory card. Till date we have seen that Lenovo has rolled out Android 6.0 update for K3 Note, A7000, P1 and S1 devices.
Some of the features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow are as follows-
- The App’s menu is different from Lollipop and the other previous versions of Android.
- It has a search bar up at the top. It also has an option to use the search term to look for other apps in Google Play.
- It has a redesigned clock which is little more than a font shuffle, but actually gives the new software a bit of a different, sharper visual personality.
- In the main settings menu there is a whole new memory area where you can check out the memory usage of all your installed apps without using a third-party app.
