Several users complained of their iPad Pro’s screen refusing to turn back on after charging and Apple surprisingly kept mum on the issue. But it has now come up with a support document which means that the company has finally acknowledged the problem. Apple added that it is aware of the issue and is currently investigating the cause behind the widespread phenomenon.  The support document tells users what to do incase their iPad pro stops responding and the screen is black. Many users have taken to social media and other online discussion forums to complain about the issue.

However, the support document published by Apple does not mention any permanent solution to the problem. What the document suggests that people do is something that anyone would normally try when they see their device not waking up after a charge or is dead. Apple suggests to get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo. The first post on the company’s support website received over 350 comments indicating that the issue is indeed widespread.

Such an issue with one of their flagship devices surely shows the company in poor light. Although Apple has officially acknowledged the problem, it needs to do more and offer some permanent solution to the issue, especially considering that the issue is not isolated to a particular device with some user but widespread among many users around the world.
