ASUS enjoyed tremendous success with its two flagship devices, namely the ZenFone 2 Laser 5 and ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5. The company is now taking the legacy forward by bringing in a new and advanced phone in the series which it has named the ZenFone 2 Laser 6 ZE601KL. The new phone comes packed with a Qualcomm 64 bit octacore processor, a notable 32 GB ROM and 3 GB RAM. The phone also boasts of a 13 megapixel primary camera with a large aperture up to f/2.0 and 0.03 autofocus feature.
To enable low light photography, the phone is equipped with ASUS Pixel enhancing and Pixel Master teachnology, which the company claims, allows users to take 400 % brighter photos and videos. The camera is also supported by a dual LED Real tone flash and a Blue Glass Infrared Filter. A manual mode for DSLR like detailed settings has also been made available. In addition to all that, the phone boasts of a super resolution mode for up to 52 MP resolution photos. The secondary camera is a 5 megapixel shooter with a wide angle lens and has three preset modes – HDR mode, Low Light mode and Night mode.
In the storage front, the phone comes with 32 GB ROM and micro SD card support up to 128 GB. In addition to that ASUS is providing its users with 5 GB of ASUS WebStorage and 100 GB Google Drive storage for free. The phone comes with a 6 inch 1920 X 1080 HD display with ASUS full screen lamination technology. The screen boasts of corning Gorilla Glass 4 which is scratch resistant. It is also embedded with blue – light filter for eye protection. The phone is powered with Li-Po removable battery.
The new ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser 6 has been made available with online retailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. It is available at INR 17,999 which is roughly equal to USD $ 270. The phone is available in three color options, namely Red, Silver and Gold.
