ASUS has seen immense success with the ZenFone series. With that start, the company today launched the much awaited ZenFone Max in India. The phone is targeted at those people who demand a long-lasting battery life like businessmen and the younger generation. The ZenFone Max comes with a powerful 5000 mAH battery and boasts of bringing power, luxury and convenience in a unique technology combo. The pre-bookings for ZenFone Max opened at 12 pm today on Amazon.in and Flipkart.com, which are two leading online retailers. The company added that the phone will also be sold at ASUS Exclusive Stores and with other retailers from the second fortnight of January.
ZenFone Max’s powerful battery requires fewer charging cycles making it last longer and more efficiently. ASUS claims that the lithium-polymer battery, when fully charged, will offer ultimate ease of usability and peace of mind to users by providing 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or 72.9 hours of music playback or 22.6 hours of video playback. If the company claimed specs are accurate, the phone is sure to be a hit among power hungry users.
ASUS goes further to state that the sheer stamina of the battery also makes it possible to turn it into an innovative power bank to charge other devices, enabling uninterrupted work and play. The 5.2 mm thin body of the ZenFone Max also packs in a standard 13MP rear and 5MP front camera and f/2.0-aperture lens with ultra-fast laser auto-focus that, according to the company, ensures crystal clear and stunning images. The phone employs industry-leading Low Light mode to capture up to 400% brighter photos at night, or in low-light conditions, without the need for a flash. The phone comes with a Qualcomm 8916 (Snapdragon 410) quad-core processor with a 2GB RAM and a 16GB internal memory with an expandable memory of 64GB using MicroSD cards.
