Then there’s the Asus Smart Gesture technology to connect smart phones to the notebook that can be used as a second touchpad, a presenter or even as a media remote. It includes Nvidia GeForce GT940m 2GB graphics to enable smooth rendering of high-resolution videos or the latest games, further claims the company.

The specs sheet further reveals a Full HD display with 170 degree viewing angle. On the audio front, Asus brings in its proprietary SonicMaster audio that incorporates ICEpower Bang & Olufsen technology. It gets a backlit keyboard with Asus’ ambient-light sensor technology wherein keyboard backlight adjusts automatically to suit the ambient lighting in the room. The UX303UB will be made available in multiple colour options such as Smoky Brown and Icicle Gold.

Commenting on the launch, Peter Chang, Region Head – South Asia & India Country Manager, Asus commented, The Indian consumers are increasingly moving towards Ultrabooks and the featherweight ZenBook UX303UB is a real performer that redefines ultraportable segment with its svelte design.
