Acer’s design masterpiece, the Swift 7 laptop, which is the world’s first such device to be thinner than 1 centimetre, or 9.98mm to be precise, has been launched in India. The base price of the model is INR 99,999 – which seems justifiable to us. Let’s see why.
The base model of the Swift 7 gets a 13.3-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 px) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It weighs a lightweight 1 kg and is extremely portable.
Under the hood, the Swift 7 packs in Intel’s seventh generation Core i5 processor with 4GB of RAM. Higher spec models offer up to 8 GB of RAM. The laptop gets a 256GB solid state drive, which helps boost battery life to a claimed nine hours. The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home and gets a 1.20 GHz clock speed
The Swift 7 will be available for sale from November 18 on Acer’s exclusive stores and some multi-brand outlets. The laptop will be available exclusively via Flipkart.
The Swift 7 comes in a combo of black & gold with gold inner surface and a matte black aluminum exterior. Audio is delivered through Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony for what is claimed to “immerse you in clear and bold virtual surround sound”.
