It seems Asus is up with a plan to end 2016 with a bang. The brand rolled out the Zenfone 3 earlier this year following which the whole Zenfone range was introduced. The range includes the standard Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Laser, Max, Deluxe and the big boy Ultra. In latest Asus news, the company has launched the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe in India. The Deluxe will be available in the country in two variants featuring two different SoCs and storage options. The company bundles the Asus ZenEar S headphones in the box.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor will be up for sale at a price of INR 62,999 and the Snapdragon 820 powered will bear a price tag of INR 49,999 respectively. Both the variants will be available in two metallic colours – Glacier Silver and Sand Gold.
Asus claims a couple of ‘World Firsts’ for the flagship Zenfone Deluxe 3 stating that it is the first flagship smartphone in the world to get a unibody metal construction with invisible antenna. Also, it is the world’s first to be equipped with PixelMaster camera (Sony IMX318 23MP+8MP) with f/2.0 aperture, OIS+EIS, Tri-tech Autofocus & 4K Video Recording.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe follows Asus’ ‘Design Thinking’ philosophy and is crafted out of lightweight aerospace-grade aluminium alloy. Its unibody construction does not get visible antenna design as seen on latest phones. On the front, is a gorgeous 5.7-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) Super AMOLED display with deep blacks and vibrant colours.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be offered with two processor options including – Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and Snapdragon 820. The Snapdragon 820 powered variant will get 64GB Internal UFS storage while the more powerful Snapdragon 821 variant will make do with 256GB of storage. Both variants will get 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
