In 2015, we saw a surge in phones with big batteries. Even in 2016, the same trend is expected to continue. There are multiple models that Asus has launched which includes Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser among others. The new model that Asus is going to launch also features a huge built-in battery. The new Zenfone Max will be available for INR 10,000 which is approximately equivalent to US $ 150. The phone very much resembles the Zenfone 2 models that were released last year. The new phone offers additional power of 2000mAh battery resulting in varying thickness.
The phone actually has a 5000 mAh battery that makes the users believe that its battery will last for over a day or more. In order to fit in the battery, the size of the phone has been compromised. In spite of that Asus has very well managed the size-to-functionality factor. The phone has a 5-inch 720 pixels display. It has high level of brightness too. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor that is compatible with 4G and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. It has a 2GB RAM which guarantees stable performance just like Moto G (2015).
The new Zenfone Max has been put to battery testing mode in order to test Asus’s claim of the phone being a powerhouse. The phone’s battery just came down to 75% from 85% after running HD-quality videos on WiFi at full brightness, which is indeed an impressive reading. The phone also features a 13 Mega pixel camera which is a standard feature in almost all phones these days. The phone will be available in two colour variants – White and black. The phone promises to last longer than any other phone at a low price. The phone therefore adds on to the list of Zenfone phones having a long battery life.
