ASUS Zenwatch 3 has been introduced in India ahead of its official launch that has scheduled to take place on 28 December 2016. The Zenwatch 3 will be exclusively sold through one of India’s top online shopping portal, Flipkart. As of now, Flipkart has put up three options of the Zenwatch 3 on their website that is up for pre-order already. So buyers can choose between three options –

The ASUS Zenwatch 3 is the first Zenwatch model to feature a round case is fully customizable and powered by Android Wear. The round case is crafted from 316L stainless steel and is 9.95mm thick and accented by a narrow, rose-gold bezel inspired by the corona of an annular solar eclipse. The case gets three crown buttons; the top crown button on the watch case can be assigned custom functionality, giving wearers instant access to their favourite or most-used feature.

On the front is a 1.39-inch AMOLED Display with 400 by 400 resolution and 287ppi pixel density. The Zenwatch’s screen is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass and the device is IP67 certified for water resistance. The Zenwatch 3 comes with more than 50 software watch faces that can be changed using the Zenwatch Manager smartphone app. This precision watch serves as an assistant for Android and iOS devices and is equipped with a full-featured activity tracker that works with the all-new ZenFit app that can track a range of activities including walking, running, push-ups, sit-ups.

Powering the ASUS Zenwatch 3 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and comes with HyperCharge technology that delivers quick recharge times; just 15 minutes to reach a 60 percent charge. An optional battery pack is also available, providing 40 percent more battery life. It is said to consume 25% less energy than the Snapdragon 400 processor used on the previous Zenwatch.
