Battle to be number one between Apple and Google

In the corporate world both Apple and Google hold top position, therefore we find both of them fighting to hold the number one position. No one knows which of the two Silicon Valley giants will emerge as the winner in this contest where they aim to highlight the difference of very different business models. In the beginning of this year for a short time we found Google had overtaken Apple as the world’s largest company where market value is concerned. But soon in May we found that Apple has regained its lost position. We believe that this battle between the two companies will continue for some time. On Friday we find Apple to be worth INR 35,13,852 crores  while Alphabet was worth INR 33,38,832 crores.

In the past we find that both the companies have made huge profit, but for different reasons. Apple has set trends around the world by giving details of iPhones and other gadgets that we must have. Though the analyst at Endpoint Technologies Associates, Mr. Roger Kay says, that the trends appears to be a little bit immobile.

Last 12 months record shows that Apple shares have slumped nearly 30 percent. This is mainly so, because its customers believe that iPhone will not be able to bring in as much profit in future as it has been getting till now. Kay says they haven’t really changed the nature of the game. He also said that with no new major hit products coming, Apple may lose its position of innovation leader, which  it had achieved after the iPhone. He also said, that the Apple Watch came in, it was kind of interesting, people liked it… but developers are still searching for exactly how to use it. On the other hand, we find Google emerging as a leader in mobile with its Android operating system. In a research note Mr. Mark Mahane, the RBC Capital Markets analyst said, that Google has positioned itself well, through organic investments and acquisitions, for most of the major trends in consumer Internet: mobile, video, local.
