BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100 bike is definitely made for the Black Widow

Did you like the futuristic Tron bike or the kick-ass BatPod? If you did, then you will definitely like what BMW Motorrad has created. Under the Vision Next 100 project, the folks at BMW group are going from clear-cut simplistic to mind-boggling futuristic! We saw what they did with the BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Mini and we should say these bespoke concept machines left us stunned. While the Vision Next 100 garage is occupied by the three, the Group’s motorcycle division has brought in the new and equally impressive – BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100 Motorcycle!

The BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100 Motorcycle was unveiled in Los Angeles at the Iconic Impulses – a BMW Group Future Experience exhibition. The maker claims that the concept bike gives an analogue experience in a digital age. The design of the bike is inspired from BMW’s iconic R32 which also happens to be the first motorcycle to be rolled out by the company.

On the first glance, you would want to compare it to the BatPod but I guess this one definitely belongs to – The Black Widow!

Powered by by a zero-emissions solution, the concept bike gets black frame triangle, or the Flex Frame, that has been reinterpreted to form a functional sculpture linking the front and rear wheels. The frame is covered in matte black textile and a BMW logo is fitted on it. The power unit is designed and created in the image of the traditional BMW boxer engine; it actually consists of a zero-emissions drive unit.  Its outward appearance changes depending on the circumstances: when the bike is resting, the power unit is compact, extending outwards only when the bike sets off, to enhance aerodynamics and protect the rider from the elements.
