Behold Canon 5D lovers! Finally, after a long wait of more than 4 years, Canon has finally upgraded their beloved 5D DSLR. Now, called as the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, this full frame camera is bumped up with much advancement and features. The only body deal will cost you INR 2,54,995; the kit with a bundled EF 24 – 70 IS USM lens will be available for INR 3,06,995 and the EF 24 – 105 IS II USM kit is priced at INR 3,24,995. Previously, Canon had also introduced the EOS 5DS and the EOS 5DSR variants in their professional DSLR category.
On a glance the new 5D Mark IV looks nothing different than the Mark III or the 5DS/5DSR but it has got some improved tech-mech inside hat sets it apart. To start off, the new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV gets 30.4 effective pixels (approximately) that is 8.1 more than the Mark III. The ISO sensitivity has been reworked as well with the new range being – 100 to 32000. It also comes with a Dual Pixel CMOS AF and 4K Movie Shooting (25 / 30p) with 4K Frame Grab.

Some features of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV are as follows-
- Powered by a DIGIC 6+ image processor and an enhanced noise processing algorithm suited for shooting in low-light scenes
- The processor now features an in-camera Digital Lens Optimizer (DLO), which allows photographers to process and optimize JPEG files for chromatic aberration, peripheral illumination, and diffraction correction.
- enhanced sensitivity (ISO speed of 100 to 32000, expandable to 102400)
- The EOS 5D Mark IV comes equipped with Dual Pixel RAW (DPRAW) – a feature which enables adjustments to be made to images after a photo is taken.
- Similar to the EOS-1D X Mark II, the EOS 5D Mark IV is equipped with the EOS iTR AF (Intelligent Tracking and Recognition Auto Focus) and 150,000 pixels RGB+IR metering sensor, which utilises face recognition and colour tracking algorithm, allowing users to accurately track a moving subject across all 61 AF points.
- With the EOS 5D Mark IV, users can shoot 4K movies at a smooth frame rate of 30p, with resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160 and an aspect ratio of 17:9 that matches cinema screens.
