CMF Phone 1 Listed on Geekbench and Secures NBTC Certification Ahead of Imminent Launch

CMF Phone 1, the inaugural smartphone from Nothing’s sub-brand CMF, is set for a grand reveal on July 8 during the Community Update event. Prior to its official release, the device has garnered NBTC certification, suggesting its imminent launch in Thailand. Additionally, it has reportedly surfaced on Geekbench, showcasing an octa-core processor and operating on Android 14. The benchmark listing also reveals some key performance scores.

According to reports, the CMF Phone 1 has received NBTC certification—a requisite for all telecommunications equipment launching in Thailand. The certification lists the model number A015 but does not divulge specific details.

Moreover, the smartphone’s Geekbench listing indicates it will be powered by an octa-core processor featuring four cores at 2.5GHz and another four at 2.0GHz, built on a 64-bit architecture. It is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and run on Android 14.

The benchmark scores for the CMF Phone 1 are reported as 1016 in single-core and 2630 in multi-core tests, with a machine learning (ML) test score of 415.

Confirmed Specifications of CMF Phone 1

The CMF Phone 1 is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support. The screen will offer up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility in outdoor settings.

Camera-wise, the smartphone will sport a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, arranged in a vertical pill-shaped module.

Under the hood, the device will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC, utilizing TSMC’s 4-nanometre fabrication process. According to the company, this chipset has achieved a score of 673,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark test. The processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM, featuring a virtual RAM boost capability. Additionally, it will support Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and dual 5G connectivity.

Powering the CMF Phone 1 is a robust 5,000mAh battery, promising up to two days of regular usage.

With these features, the CMF Phone 1 aims to offer a compelling blend of performance, camera capabilities, and connectivity options. As the launch date approaches, anticipation is building for Nothing’s latest innovation in the smartphone market.
