May 18 to 20, in California, in Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, huge number of developers from all round the world will visit to attend the annual software conference. The purpose of their visit will be to get to know more about the new model of Android operating system. This model along with other discoveries of Google is expected this autumn.
Officially the new version of Google’s mobile operating system will be released in the 2016 conference, quite a few of its features have been shown in the beta version. For quite some time this is available for downloading. One of the main feature is that we can use two applications at the same time either side by side or one obove the other. It is called as the multi window mode. Google promises to introduce a new system of creating custom short cuts and few other intuitive notifications. They have also improved their battery saving function.
Like Microsoft and Facebook, Google is making huge investment in virtual reality. Unveiling of several versions is expected in this event. It is also heard that the firm may introduce a new sophisticated head set. Whether a new head set is introduced or not Google is expected to hold every ones attention with their new operating system mainly designed for virtual reality environment. At the Google I/O conference we may get to see the Project Ara modular smart phone. A smart phone that is cost effective and environment friendly is being developed by Google. It is made up of many small blocks that contain components like memory, processor, camera, speaker, 3G chip, etc Each and every part of the phone can be easily removed and replaced if ever necessary. Also another project Tango may be seen displaying its advanced 3D mapping technology.
