Coolpad Note 3 Lite: Everything you need to know

Coolpad Note 3 is a toned down version of the last year released smart phone, Coolpad Note 3. It is the first phone to feature a fingerprint sensor in INR 10,000 range smart phones. The company now plans to bring it down to a lower price segment.

The phone has a 5-inch HD IPS display with scratch protection. It is a budget phone with an amazing design. A gold trim runs along the edges of the body making it look good. The camera lens and the fingerprint sensor jazzes up the phone a bit. No backlighting is provided for the capacitive buttons for navigation but they are highly responsive. The phone sports a 5-megapixel front camera with notification LED and a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in two colour variants white and black. The phone comes with the usual data-cable, headset and charger along with a screen guard.

The phone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6735 with 3GB of RAM. It has an internal memory of 16GB which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.  The phone features USB OTG, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM radio, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone has two Micro-SIM slots that support 4G on band 40 through both.The phone packs a non-removable 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone has a dimension of 140.80 x 70.40 x 8.90 and weighs around 152.00 grams. It also features many sensors like Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope and Accelerometer. The phone sports a 13-megapixel primary camera at the back and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video conferences.

The phone has a responsive touchscreen. The phone has a well working Fingerprint sensor and a good battery life. It is sturdy and has competitive specs. Users have reported that the phone takes a comparatively longer time to charge than most modern smart phones and has an average camera performance.
