Coolpad is a smartphone manufacturing company. It also provides integrated wireless data solutions. The company recently launched a new smartphone Coolpad Note 3 Lite. Coolpad Note 3 Lite is very similar to Coolpad Note 3 that was launched in last October. The new smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon.in. The phone will be sold via a flash sale whose registration starts today and is the sale itself is scheduled for 28th January. The phone is priced at INR 6,999 which is equivalent to US $ 103.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor that supports 360 degrees finger rotation, located at the back of the phone. Coolpad Note 3 also provides a 3D image quality. The phone has a 5-inch HD screen with 3GB of RAM. The phone has an inbuilt memory of 16 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of an SD Card. The phone is a dual- SIM phone that supports 4G LTE, 3G and GSM network frequencies.
The phone sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and autofocus and has a 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies. Both the cameras have a CMOS image sensor that provides better image quality. The phone packs a 2,500 mAh battery. Coolpad Note 3 Lite is powered by a Quad-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 processor. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and a Cool UI on top. The phone has the dimensions as 140.8 x 70.4 x 8.9mm and weighs around 152 grams. The phone will be available in two colour variants – Champagne white and black.
Li Bin, CEO, Coolpad Group, during the launch informed that the company will start manufacturing the Note 3 from the first quarter of 2016. The manufacturing will be from Videocon`s Aurangabad factory and the plan is to manufacture 1 million “Make in India” phones by the end of 2016.
