The Central Censor Board in Pakistan feels that Raees’s content undermines Islam and a specific religious sect, and also portrays Muslims as terrorists and criminals. Earlier, Mahira Khan, the lead actress from the movie, was banned from promoting the film in India by certain outfits for being a Pakistani.
