Huawei Nexus 6P was released in India in October. Customers could exclusively pre-order the phone via Flipkart. But customers were disappointed as there was only limited number of pieces that were available for pre-booking. The launch of Huawei Nexus 6P at the beginning was filled with many such glitches. Huawei decided to make small batches of phone available in India from the first week of November after studying certain News reports. The company again failed to keep up to its promise. In India the phone was earlier only launched in two colour variants- Aluminium and Graphite.
Despite the problems and company not sticking to its words, Huawei Nexus 6P still did quite well in India. So now in order to target the niche group, the company has launched a Special Edition of phone in Gold colour. The special edition will have additional bank offers and a 10% discount available for the first three days of the sale. Now the Pre-order facility of Gold colour special edition is available exclusively on Flipkart at Rs 43,999 or 665 dollars. As per the sources the release is expected to be on 29th December.
Huawei Nexus 6P is made up of aluminium. It is the first all-metal phone made by the company. It has a 5.7-inch QHD display made of Corning Gorilla Glass with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. It features a 12.3 Megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with HDR+. It is powered by the latest OS i.e. Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone has a 3GB of LPDD4 RAM memory. The phone is provided with a 3450mAh battery with quick charge feature which gets the phone to work for 7 hours with only 10 minutes of charging. The phone also features Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C and dual front-ported speakers. The special edition also has a pre-bundled back cover.
