Evernote is getting more and more users on board its service and with it there indeed will come a point where all of users have varied requirements. The company found out that one such requirement was needed for Google Drive. Evernote noticed how many of users copy pasted links from Google’s service. Evernote then worked with Google to deliver better Google Drive integration into its services. Now the result is that Evernote’s customers can easily access files from their connected Google Drive accounts to make their work flow seamless. The company also revealed that, since majority of its users have a Google account, it made sense to integrate the service. And now everyone with a Drive account can access their files in the Evernote apps. This beta integration is currently available for the web on Chrome, and for Android.

Instead of seeing only URL links, anyone can now browse contents created or stored in Google Drive right inside Evernote’s notebooks. Users can now simply add any file in their Drive to their notes without leaving the Evernote application. Moreover, any changes to files in Google Drive will dynamically update in Evernote.

Evernote CEO Chris O’Neill says, once people see how well Evernote and Drive work together, they’ll use both products intuitively. For Evernote enthusiasts, this is a natural progression. Google is organizing the world’s information, and now Google Drive and Evernote are helping you do just that with your information. Evernote has assured that other platforms like iOS and Windows will soon be receiving the same integration.
