Fable Fortune is a free to play card game collection from Fable franchise. The developers have registered on Kickstarter for crowd-funding. The Flaming Fowl Studios, which is developing the project together with UK studio Mediatonic, has set a target of £250,000 on the website. Achieving this goal will enable the team to reach closed beta on their PC version of the game. The team is betting on the popularity of card games, and is expecting more funding that the set goal of £250,000. It is also counting on the devotion of the players themselves to help surpass the funding amount by a good margin.

With the game available for free to play, users are eligible for more rewards along with a copy of the game itself. The users will also be granted special access to forums along with preview of an early version of the game. Even some fancy physical rewards are expected to be in store. To raise the production value, the developers are also expected to add more content by offering stretch goals, which in turn shall encourage users for spending more money. The Fable Fortune game is expected to arrive during the initial months of 2017. When Gizmoids last checked, the project had 744 backers and had raised a total of £24,117 already.

The team also has permissions to use the name and plot of the series as they have legally acquired the license of Fable Fortune from Microsoft. To the respite of all the gamers, IGN is already appreciating the concept after having played the earlier version. The team is eyeing at launching the game on PC – Steam & Windows Store & Xbox One with the potential for even an Android and iOS versions to follow. The new company is ‘Flaming Fowl Studios’ which is working with ex-LionHead developers to bring the game to life.
