Five months ago we had seen that Ringing Bells, the Noida-based company had courted controversy after announcing a smart phone at an astonishingly low price of INR 251. But now the company claims that in five states including Haryana, West Bengal, and Bihar they have begun delivery of the world’s cheapest smart phone. Buyers will have to pay INR 291 which includes delivery charges of INR 40 for the Freedom 251 smart phone. The Freedom 251 prototype features a quad core processor, a 4 inch screen and both primary and secondary cameras.
