In September the Gionee F103 smart phone was launched under the Make in India initiative. The Gionee F103 Pro is its successor and is a part of the Gionee ‘Fashion’ series. Compared to its predecessor the F103 Pro receives many spec upgrades. This smart phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Amigo 3.1UI. It has dual SIM dual standby support. The Gionee F103 Pro comes with a 5 inch HD display having 1280 x 720 pixels IPS with pixel density of 294 ppi. Besides all this, it is protected with a 2.5D glass on top. The smart phone sports 3 GB of RAM and is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3 GHz.
The Gionee F103 Pro comes with a 13 megapixel primary camera with LED flash, and PDAF with a claim to focus in as little as 0.1 seconds. To enhance selfies this smart phone comes with a 5 megapixel secondary camera with beauty filters. This smart phone has an inbuilt storage capacity of 16 GB which can be further expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The smart phone features a 2400mAh battery, which the company claims will give up to 20 hours of talk time, and 470 hours of standby time.
The Gionee F103 Pro weighs 143 grams and measures 145.3 x 70.5 x 8.5mm. This device comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE along with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 GPS, USB, OTG, and microUSB 2.0 port. The Gionee F103 Pro is all set to compete with the Oppo A37 which was launched last month in India, with its price and specs. The price tag of this smart phone falls in the same range.
