Gionee added a new jewel to its Marathon Series Crown today by adding the new M5 Plus, which is a power-packed smart phone complete with a 5020 mAh massive battery and a smart power consumption system developed by Gionee itself. The package is housed in an ultra slim full metal body case. The M5 Plus is also the first Gionee phone in India to carry the new logo that is being advertised by the KKR IPL Team during matches, as Gionee is a sponsor for the team. The new phone offers both 4G and VoLTE SIM. Apart from the large battery, the new M5 Plus has an ultra slim full metal body case and a centrally placed camera on the back.
On the display front, the phone has a 6-inch full HD with 1920 x 1080 pixel support AMOLED curved display. The package arrives with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. It is powered with a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor, which is coupled with a 3 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage. The device is powered by a 5020 mAh battery, which is quite big as compared to its competitors and it runs Amigo 3.1 UI, which is based on Android 5.1. It also boasts of a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C charging port and a dual SIM support. The phone will be available for buyers in Champagne Gold and Polar Gold colour variants, retailing for INR 26,999, across retail outlets in India, as well as online exclusively through etailer Flipkart.
