Gionee launched their camera oriented smartphone, the S6s in India. The smartphone is developed under the ‘making slim & shine to perfection’ product development philosophy of the company. Equipped with 8 MP front camera and a selfie flash, the phone is brought into the market for selfie lovers. The pixel size of the front camera sensor is 1.4μm which is said to be capable of catching more light in the low-light conditions. The rear shooter is a 13 MP unit with SONY IMX258 Sensor.
The Gionee S6s gets a crystal clear 13.97cm (5.5-inch) IPS FHD display that is protected by a 2.5D water-drop Corning Gorilla Glass with Native Damage Resistance technology. Inside is an MTK6753 64bit Octa-core 1.3GHz processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The 32 GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD cards. It comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Amigo 3.2 UI on top. The phone comes with a 3150 mAh battery and supports both 4G and VoLTE.

The Gionee S6s will be available across India in colour variants of Mocha Gold and Latte Gold and will retail at a price of INR 17,999 INR.
