The Google I/O unfolded today with the intention to let the world know what the company has planned for the upcoming year. Each new iteration of the Google’s own Operating System is a tremendous change over its predecessor and has the capability to make one’s device look and feel new without having to buy a brand new device. Android N – The all new Android N is expected to have as much as 250 new features onboard. The major features were showcased onstage and they were related to performance improvements, enhanced security and productivity. According to Google, Android N will now support the Vulkan graphics API for mobile helps to better optimize the GPU hence give a better performance when it comes to gaming. This could also bring in a marked change into video playing capabilities.
Android N will also come bundled with Just in Time compiler to ensure 75% boost in the speed of application installations along with almost 50% reduction in compilation codes. For the laymen, these improvements are expected to significantly improve the battery life on devices running Android N. Recent Menu with seven recently opened apps, a clear all button, a switch feature and multi window modes are some of the other features that will arrive with the next version of Android. All in all, the next version of Android is promising to be much more exciting and fun.
