The Google I/O unfolded today with the intention to let the world know what the company has planned for the upcoming year. If you missed tuning in to the greatest event of all time, here is a quick recap of everything that transpired there. Among the several interesting announcements made, one of the most alluring announcements that will soon see the light of the day is Allo. Set to revolutionize the field of mobile chatting, Google has come up with an all new messaging app with Google Assistant built right into it. Imagine having a dedicated assistant to manage all your chat related tasks. This sure makes it much more interesting than anything we have seen till date.
Allo – Google has integrated its Google Assistant into an all new messaging app. The combo will allow users to explore new avenues in chatting that has hitherto never been imagined. Some of the promised features are Whisper Shout, that lets one add more emotion to the chats, side by side chatting with other users, encryption feature as well as an incognito mode like the one already available in Google Chrome. All this and much more will be available with the complete assistance of Google Assistant. Interestingly, Allo is a French word for ‘Hello’, which makes it even more interesting as a messaging app. Allo should be available for users by the end of this summer.

Allo will also be able to suggest replies due to the machine learning feature that comes with the Assistant. You will no longer have to think of a perfect reply to a text as the assistant will take care of that aspect. All that you will have to do is either accept the suggestion made or write something new that will also teach the assistant your taste, which is bound to be useful in future auto replies.
