Here’s what you can expect from Apple’s WWDC 2016

Official invitations are being sent by Apple for its annual developer conference called WWDC which will take place on 13 June at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco at 10:30PM IST. The event will be shown live all around the world. All of Apples activities are expected to take place together at the same place. As WWDC approaches closer many new things may be revealed online besides the rumors being heard. WWDC was always concerned with software. In 2013 we saw that WWDC was the sole one to showcase redesigned Apple product. Recently as Apple has moved to new platforms they will indeed have plenty to present. Besides software devices it is expected that Apple will showcase their new digital assistant for devices that is Siri.

iOS 10 is expected to bring plenty of redesigns and revamps but not as much as seen in iOS 6 to iOS 7. A big App Store revamp is being planned by Apple according to 9to5mac. We expect that it will include major changes like those related to navigation and browsing and may also introduce paid search results. This will naturally help solving the Store’s longstanding problems with app search and discovery which were not as accurate and powerful as Google Play Store on Android. iOS 10 is also said to bring a complete new Apple Music with support for lyrics and massive artwork. It is also expected that instead of the current magenta colour and translucent theme it will go black and white.

Recently it was revealed to us that we could hide stock or native apps on the iPhone and iPad. Details revealed from iTunes metadata indicates that apps will now be segregated into two apps, namely the first party app’s and first party hideable app’s. According to the new data showcase users will be able to remove default app like Stocks, Compass, Voice Messages and others.
