HTC 10 to be launched in India During Thursday’s Event

For an event to be held on Thursday in Delhi, HTC has sent out media invitations. It is expected that in this event the company will launch their latest smart phone that is the HTC 10. In April, they had made a global announcement of this smart phone claiming that it was powered by the Snapdragon 820 variant. However, the company has also listed another smart phone called HTC 10 Lifestyle in India, which comes with a Snapdragon 652 SoC. Naturally, as expected a lot of commotion arose, to which the company responded by clarifying that the global variant will be headed to India. But what the company was trying to say is difficult to understand. Did they mean that they will launch the HTC 10 or HTC 10 Lifestyle or did they mean they will launch both?

The HTC 10 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features 4GB of RAM. While the HTC 10 Lifestyle features 3GB of RAM. This smart phone comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD that is 1440×2560 pixels, a Super LCD 5 display with a pixel density of 564ppi. It is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC  while the HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by Snapdragon 652. This smart phone comes with a 12-UltraPixel laser autofocus camera with dual tone LED flash, BSI sensor, and optical image stabilization. While the HTC 10 Lifestyle has a sapphire lens for the primary camera.

It not only sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that features autofocus, but also a BSI sensor, optical image stabilisation and auto selfie. In the past few months the Taiwanese manufacturer has launched several phones which are not available in India. It is possible that the company may bring those in as well.
