HTC is a Taiwan based multinational manufacturer of tablets and smart phones. The company launched a new Dual SIM smart phone, HTC Desire 728, in India. The phone has new and enhanced features like dual 4G LTE connectivity, front and back cameras, etc.
Mr. Faisal Siddiqui who is the President South Asia HTC says that HTC Desire 728 is not only loaded with new features but also has a unique design with a clean yet striking finish. The phone has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720pixel and an HD display. The device is powered by 64-bit MediaTek 1.3GHz Octa-core processor and has a 2GB RAM. The phone has an internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded up to 2TB with the help of a microSD card.
The phone is a dual SIM card phone that features BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. The phone also sports a 13MP AF BSI camera with LED flash support at the back and a 5MP FF BSI camera at the front for selfies. The recording capabilities of both the cameras are of 1080p i.e. full HD. The phone runs on Android OS along with HTC Sense out-of-the-box. HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM packs a 2,800 mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time on 3G as per the company.
The phone has dual Nano SIM i.e. USIM and USIM. The phone also features 4G LTE, Standard Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB 2.0, 3G HSPA +, Bluetooth 4.1, .5mm stereo audio jack and GPS + GLONASS. HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM is priced at INR 17,990 that is approximately equal to US $ 270. The phone will be available in two colour variants – Purple Myst and White Luxury.
