Hyve has launched its deca core, top of the line smartphone, Hyve Pryme in India, and priced it at 17,999. The Hyve Pryme gets a 2.3 Ghz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor along with 4 GB of RAM.
Display is 5.7 inch, full HD (1080×1920 px) unit. The phone gets dual-SIM capability and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Internal memory is pegged at 32GB, which is expandable via microSD card up to 200GB.
The phone gets a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. Front shooter is an 8-megapixel unit, and also sports an LED flash. According to Hyde, the camera on the phone is ‘best in class’. We are not buying the claim before testing the phone though.
Battery on the Pryme is a 3500mAh unit. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type C and GPS. The phone also gets an IR blaster. The Pryme weighs 188 grams and is available in Champagne colour.
