In Computex Technology Conference Asus launches Zenbo Robot

Just one day before the Computex 2016 that is the annual Computex technology conference, the Taiwanese technology firm Asus launched more than 10 new products, which included a new robot called Zenbo. The new Zenbo robot, which functions as a home assistant cost $599. The 10 new products launched also includes a ZenBook 3 laptop which is thinner than the Apple MacBook Air and its new Zenfone 3 smart phone series.

During the launch Jonney Shih who is the Asus Chairman said that the Zenbo robot is their attempt at making sure that every household has a robot to do all their work. This amazing Zenbo robot which functions as a home assistant is rated at $599. To prove the abilities of the robot Shih ordered the robot to turn on the lights, , to take a selfie, and also asked the robot to talk to the crowd. Zenbo is designed to provide assistance, entertainment, and is also capable of doing certain specific functions such as assisting senior family members with doctor’s appointments, medication and exercise schedules.

By launching the robot, Asus has joined the new list of technology companies of launching smart assistant devices for homes. But, in Asus case it is also a full fledged robot. Asus robot can walk by itself around a house and has a display on its head where it shows all the required information. No specified technical details is given by Asus nor have they given any availability details of the robot.
