ASUS has brought onboard an all new and powerful contender to their Zenfone series. Unveiled at the ‘Z3nvolution’ event at Computex 2016 in Taiwan, the smartphone will go by the name – ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe. It is also claimed to be the first ever smartphone that will come packed with the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC. Along with the Deluxe, the company also unveiled the Zenfone 3 and the Zenfone Ultra.
As for the specifications, the phone gets a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 by 1080) Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. A 23MP rear shooter pumped up with the updated Sony IMX318 image sensor and a 8MP camera. The Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and assisted by 6GB RAM and the onboard storage will be UFS 2.0 providing a gigantic 256GB space.
There is news that the phone will also be offered with Snapdragon 820 processor onboard that will get an option of 4GB RAM and internal storage of 64GB or 128GB. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe will roll out with 4G LTE Cat 13 and 3CA that will be capable of reaching 600Mbps download speed and 2x2MIMO Wi-Fi 802.11ac up to 866Mbps.
All of the above mentioned hardware will be packed in a, claimed to be, strong and light aluminum alloy unibody that will feature no antenna lines. Other features that will likely be offered will be Type-C 1.0 reversible connector that will support Quick Charge 3.0 to fuel up the 3000 mAh battery. As of now the prices are not yet out, but very soon some news of the same will be out.
